The hotel -Closed temporarily-
The castle was built in the Villaviciosa s.XIV to have controlled access to
Valley Amblés from neighbouring Extremadura.
The hostel housed today bears the name of the Caudillo Sancho de Estrada, a descendant
of Roman emperors, Captain Knights of Avila, whose weapons were the Aguila Negra
in Campo de Oro.
It has 12 rooms and highlight the excellent quality of our restaurant. There
are two historical relics who excel in this area, the Castro de Ulaca and Castle
Villaviciosa. The Castro of Ulaca was declared historical
artistic monument in
1931 with the Second Republic.
